WHO ARE WE ?

Founded in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic by choreographers Alice Lambert, Fanny Pouillot and Lucie Palazot, Parade was born from a visceral need to come together and create.

Alice, Lucie and Fanny see dance as a social art form, a poetic gesture of resistance, creator of links, placing the human being and the body at the centre of their artistic practice.

Together they created L’ENVOL (2023), a poetic tale of dance presented at the Royaumont Festival in September 2023. New creations by Alice and Lucie are currently being produced for 2025-2026. As part of L’ENVOL, a series of dance practice and choreography workshops has been developed for amator audiences. Several creations for amators are carried out each year with partners Royaumont, Fecamp Plus, La Cité Scolaire Internationale in Lyon and La Ferme du Grand Béon in Soucy. In 2023, Alice launched Mardis Mouvants in Lyon with partner Le Croiseur, a monthly jam session accompanied by a musician.

Parade celebrates dance for all that awakens bodies, electrifies connections between oneself, others and one’s environment. Not necessarily in words, but in poetry and movement.

D_compartmentalising creative spaces: taking over living spaces, public spaces, spaces for celebration and knowledge,
E_thinking about the relationship between dance, the place of the artist and society with professionals and amators.
